Colorado Mountain Estates is an architecturally controlled and covenanted community located off Teller County Road 1 just south of Florissant, Colorado.
The community of Colorado Mountain Estates spans approximately 2,000 acres and backs up to Mueller State Park. There are over 1600 properties with almost 1200 owners.
About our 2020 Board
Jennifer Etheridge - (President)- Has a Biology degree from Northern Arizona University. She has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry for 18 years. Currently, she manages global oncology clinical trials for a Fortune 500 company. With her interpersonal skills and organization experience, she is a tremendous asset to the Board and to the CME community. Jennifer has lived here since 2005 with her blossoming family. 
Mona Liedtke - (Vice President) - has been a resident of CME for 4.5 years. She has over 20 years experience in the medical field, including accounts receivable, 5 years managerial experience as well as EMT training and has served on a Board in the past. Mona is very interested in what happens within the CME community. Having served as a Secretary on the Elk Creek Fire District in the past, she brings valuable experience to the table. You have likely encountered Mona as she regularly attends the CME meetings and volunteers at several annual events. She is the spouse of Allan Liedtke who recently served as CME Board Treasurer. Mona is able and willing to serve CME further by serving on the Board.
Al Franke-(Treasurer) -   Al has worked 33 years in retail Management. Duties included Store Manager for a fortune 500 retailer as well as Operational Specialist with Budgeting and opening experience for over 1.5 billion in sales for 18 years. Was the General Merchandise Manager for 15 years for another company that did 750 Million in sales was responsible for Budgeting, Advertising,  Distribution and Ware housing as well as all of the Hard goods buyers, Store layout and New store and existing store fixture purchasing and Manufacture. He ended his career in Retail as an International Retail Consultant Working for a private equity firm for 6 years, enhancing the profitability and helping to maximize Inventory control and improving training for companies across the US, Canada and Europe.
Marzelle Black (Secretary) – Marzelle is a Physical Therapist of 29 years and Rehab Manager at Pikes Peak Regional Hospital/ UCHealth.  She is also an active member of the Pikes Peak Rotary club.  She moved to the area with her family 10 years ago and is definitely planning to stay!  Colorado is the place to be and she is  presently living in Woodland Park but have acquired property in CME to make it the perfect retirement spot  very soon. 
Bob Hirschfeld (Member At Large) -  Has been a resident of CME for 6.5 years. Before that lived just north in Douglas County, Colorado for 30 years. Most of his working career was spent as a Defense Contractor supporting Air Force Satellite and Ground Operations around the world. He brings a high code of ethics and integrity to the Board. He currently is our volunteer for CME maintenance after Bill Nickel “retired” from that function three years ago.
Matt Matasso-(Member at Large)Matt and his wife moved to Colorado about 9 years ago and quickly became involved in this wonderful community. He is an active member of Teller County Search and Rescue and is the membership chair for the organization. He is also a member at Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church in Woodland Park and helps the church with all IT needs. Matt has worked in the legal industry since college and works for a trial consulting firm based out of San Francisco specializing in Patent and IP law. He is able to work from home and thoroughly enjoys the views from his office window. Matt loves all that Colorado has to offer and in his spare time likes to camp, ski, white water kayak and anything outdoors.
Jeffrey Dunn (Member at Large) - Jeff and his wife have lived in CME for just over a year and previously resided in Colorado Springs. They have 5 children and 9 grandchildren spread out between Colorado Springs, Salt Lake City, Dallas and Appleton, WI. Jeff grew up in Widefield, CO.  After retiring from 20 years of Naval service, he worked as both a Government Civilian and Contractor for The Missile Defense Agency until his retirement in early 2020..
